ENTRANCE FEES

The SANPARKS daily conservation fee/entrance fee is not included in our rate for full-day and half-day drives into the Kruger National Park and will need to be paid separately. We can itemise this on your invoice for upfront payment alongside your other costs or you can pay it yourself in cash on the day.

If your safari takes place in a private reserve forming part of the Greater Kruger, such as Klaserie or Balule, the entrance fee is already included in the rate for our sunrise or sunset drives.

GAME DRIVES

Our game drives are conducted in open safari vehicles (OSV's) designed to give you the best game viewing and photographic opportunities. You will be accompanied by a qualified safari guide who'll share with you the sights, smells and sounds of the Kruger. Our vehicles are equipped with blankets to keep you snug in the early morning and late afternoon. Our waterproof ponchos are fleece lined so they keep you dry when it rains, warm in winter and they act as a windbreaker.

GETTING THERE

As with all our activities, whether you’re staying in Hoedspruit, Hazyview or one of the surrounding lodges, the Other Animals Safaris will transfer you to and from the Kruger Park for your day drive or to a private reserve for your sunrise or sundowner safari or bush dinner. Please note that your full day and sunrise safaris depart very early in the morning as the Kruger Park gates open at 06:00 at the latest and this is the most optimal time for game viewing.

FOOD & DRINKS

Start your day in true lowveld style with early morning tea, coffee and rusks (Hoedspruit departs only). We'll coordinate with your overnight lodgings to ensure your breakfast is packed and ready to take along. On full-day drives, lunch in a rest camp restaurant (pictured) is for your own account. Snacks and cold drinks are also for your own account but you’re welcome to bring your own picnic lunch and refreshments.
